Shawn Bitters: Burn Out

Monday, March 16, 2020

An outdoor installation composed of 23 printed "stones" from Kansas City-based artist Shawn Bitters that, when decoded, reveal a narrative of the landscape. This installation, on the grounds of the Museum and Phelps Grove Park, is a collaboration between the Museum and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. On view through July 2020 as a long-term loan courtesy of the artist. To decode the work, please visit the artist's website or visit the Museum's front desk (during normal hours of operation) where printed copies of the key are available.
