FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Springfield, MO. (June 24, 2022) – The Springfield Art Museum will be closed to the public Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8 for repairs, resealing, and restriping of the Museum's existing parking lot, which will be inaccessible during this time period. These repairs are necessary as the Museum's existing parking lot will continue to serve the public as new parking lots continue to be constructed along the northside of the Museum's grounds throughout the Museum's Master Plan construction process. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause patrons who planned to visit the Museum during this brief period of closure. The Museum will reopen to the public on Saturday, July 9 at 10 AM.
For more information about the Museum's Master Plan, please visit https://www.sgfmuseum.org/258/Museum-Master-Plan. The Springfield Art Museum is located at 1111 East Brookside Drive. Donations are gratefully accepted.
