Project Bags contain materials and instructions for projects inspired by works in our collection. We are offering these bags free of charge while our in-person programming for kids is suspended. Project bags are most appropriate for children ages 3-12.
The Eerie Etchings project bag introduces kids to the process of intaglio, which artist Michael Mazur used to create the etchings in The Inferno of Dante, currently on view at the museum. The project bag also includes all of the materials kids need to create their own intaglio-inspired spooky scenes. Click here to register for an Eerie Etchings project bag.
HELP KEEP PROJECT BAGS FREE!
Since beginning the Take-Home Project Bag initiative, the Museum has distributed over 10,000 project bags to individual families and local schools! Donations to our Education Fund - large or small - help keep projects like this as accessible as possible to all members of our community.
Simply select "Education" from the drop-down list on our online donation form. We appreciate your generosity and partnership in helping us to deliver art-making programs in our community!
