Summer Art Camp
Summer Art Camps at the Springfield Art Museum provide an enriching summer experience! Summer Art Camps are intended for children ages 6 - 10 or 5 year-olds who have completed kindergarten. Campers explore the Museum’s collection through drawing, creative writing, movement, and other gallery activities. All sessions run Monday through Friday. Campers can attend half-day (morning or afternoon) or full-day camp sessions. Check back soon for 2023 Summer Art Camp information.
Half-Day Camp (9 AM - 12 PM or 1 - 4 PM)
- $TBA per 5-day session
- Each session includes 15 program hours, materials, and snacks
Full Day Camp (9 AM - 4 PM)
- $TBA per 5-day session
- Each session includes 35 program hours, materials, and snacks
- Full-day campers bring a sack lunch and stay at the Museum during the lunch hour

We’ll make art of all kinds inspired by imagination – fairy tales, monsters, wizards, and more!
Awesome Artists
Monday, July 11 – Friday, July 15, 2022
Learn about artists through the ages – what inspired them, what they made, and how they made it – and create some awesome art of your own!
Fantastic Ceramics
Monday, July 18 – Friday, July 22, 2022
Get your hands dirty (with clay!) while you discover different methods and materials you can use to create ceramic art.
Perspectives on Painting

Explore the amazing medium of painting through experimentation with materials, techniques, and more!
The Wide World of Art

Learn about and explore art forms and traditions from around the world – and make your own versions!
Camper Illness Information
Please keep your camper at home if they have any of the following symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea

Gift certificates are only eligible for classes and workshops at this time. They cannot be redeemed for Museum retail merchandise or event ticket purchases.
